HEMYOCK will have a women's football team playing in the Devon League this coming season.

It will be managed and run by Anthony Trimm who coached Wellington Ladies last winter.

"We've a squad of 22 players and it's increasing all the time," said the 28-year-old Trimm. "I've been a coach for some time but this is an opportunity for me to manage a team.

"We have applied to join the Devon Women's League and expect to be playing in the East Devon section."
