WELLINGTON and Cullompton clash for the third time this season - in the opening round of the Papa Johns KO Cup at the Athletic Ground this afternoon (Sat, 3p.m.).

The sides have met twice in Regional Two South West this winter with Cullompton winning on home soil 44-10 early on in the season while Wellington gained revenge with a dour 10-5 home win in February.

However, Wellington will have to improve on last Saturday's performance when they lost 26-15 at home to bottom club Burnham on Sea in a league match.

Wellington's influential skipper Danny Lee is again ruled out with a hand injury, but Wellington are expected to field a stronger side than they did against Burnham.

Wadebridge Camels or Truro await the winners of the tie at Wellington in the next round.
