WELLINGTON’S home game against Falmouth Town in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League this evening (Tues) goes ahead following a morning pitch inspection (7.45).

“Obviously there was some doubt about the match being played because the pitch is very wet,” said club secretary Jane Brown. “But a strong wind should dry it out.”

Falmouth will provide tough opposition. They are second in the table, having lost only four games this season.

Wellington’s last home game of the season is against top of the table Helston Town on Saturday (3.00).
