WELLINGTON lost away for the first time this season when they went down 26-12 in Regional Two South West at Crediton this afternoon (Sat).

Having gone in at half time 14-7 down, Wellington hit back with an unconverted try by skipper Danny Lee to move to within two points of their rivals.

But the home side scored a converted try to put two scores between the teams at 21-12 before clinching victory with another try.

Cam Venn scored a first half try for Wellington with Dan Trick converting.
