BABY sessions are being run in Wellington for children from new-born up to 12-plus months to be introduced to the enchanting world of nature.

The ‘Blossom Babes’ course is organised by Marion Vincent, whose Growing Minds business has just been shortlisted in The Class Business Awards by Bright Beginnings Baby and Toddler Group

The sessions take place in the surroundings of Wellington’s Basins wildlife and nature reserve and other locations near the town until July 23.

They are described as ‘a magical experience designed to unfold the wonders of simple yet meaningful ways to foster your baby'’s early learning and development’.

A spokesperson said the method could easily be reproduced in a parent’s own home environment.

They said: “Witness the extraordinary magic that happens when you explore the art of gentle talking, soothing singing, delightful book sharing, and joyous play with your baby.

“And why confine this adventure to the indoors when the awe-inspiring beauty of nature beckons us right outside our doors.

“Stroll into the natural wonders with Marion as your guide, and observe the incredible journey of discovery as learning and giggles occur amid the captivating environment that surrounds us.

“This is more than just a session, it is a heartfelt invitation to forge connections, swap parenting insights, and bask in the delight of shared moments through sweet moments of bliss, captivating baby sensory and messy delights, and nature-inspired activities.

“Together, let us go on a journey of joy and transform learning into an unforgettable odyssey, where bonds are formed, ideas sprout, and the giggles of babies resonate through the great outdoors.”

‘Blossom Babes’ which is only held during the warmer months of the year, requires a ‘willingness to have fun and embrace learning with your little one outdoors whatever the weather throws at us’.
