A glorious sunny afternoon saw people flock to the open cottage garden of Tim and Jayne Courtenay of Hemyock.

The event held to support Culm Davy Chapel and the Blackdown Support Group raised £840.

A beautiful floral bed in colours of mainly mauves and blues with splashes of yellow greeted visitors on their arrival but on wandering around the large expanse of ground one came across other colourful beds and many other plants including roses, in particular a beautiful yellow rose arch, a grape vine, a meadow of white daisies and vegetable beds which included a scarecrow. Mature trees add to the wonderful views.

Tables and chairs were set up around the large lawn area for visitors to enjoy delicious refreshments and a raffle held which all added to a highly enjoyable event.
