A SOCIAL media influencer from Wellington was invited to spend a night at The Traitors castle to celebrate the finale of Celebrity Traitors.

Flynn West joined 11 other online creators at the set of the BBC show, where they would be able to experience some of the key locations as it is seen on TV.

After starting the day in their hotel, the group set off in The Traitors’ signature Land Rovers as they made the journey north towards the castle.

Hosted by TikTok, the creators took part in an exclusive ‘Creator Games’ version of The Traitors, with Flynn playing the part of a ‘Faithful’.

He made it through to the final seven after a series of eliminations and castle missions.

A casting executive from Studio Lambert, the production company behind The Traitors, also joined the creators for the experience, offering behind-the-scenes insight into the making of the show.

The day featured afternoon tea, themed missions across the castle grounds, and exclusive access to the historic setting. Flynn even spent the night in King James V’s actual bedroom, before the evening concluded with a spectacular firework display over the castle — a fitting finale to a truly unforgettable experience.

Flynn said: “Getting to experience The Traitors in real life was absolutely surreal.

“From driving up in the Land Rovers to sleeping in King James V’s bedroom, playing as a Faithful, and making it to the final seven — it felt like stepping straight into the show. Huge thanks to TikTok for such an incredible opportunity.”

Flynn has a sizeable online following, having gained more than 38,000 followers on Instagram and 129,000 followers on TikTok, with his most popular videos having been seen by millions of people.
