WELLINGTON won their first home match of the season in Regional Two South West when they beat Teignmouth 55-14 at the Athletic Ground this afternoon (Sat).

Wellington never looked back after Ash Harney, returning to the side, snapped up a try only seconds into the game.

Wellington, who led 24-7 at half time, went on to dominate the match with Teignmouth fortunate not to lose more heavily.

Harney was in splendid form and completed his hat-trick of tries with another towards the end of the first half, and a third not long into the second half.

This was Wellington's third victory in four league games., with their only defeat being at home to Sidmouth a fortnight ago.
