THERE will be a pitch inspection ahead of Wellington’s scheduled home game against high-riding Clevedon Town today (Sat).
There has been rain throughout the night and the signs are not good.
Clevedon are lying second in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League, having won nine and drawn three of their 12 games so far. They are only a point behind leaders Bridgwater United - and have a crucial game in hand.
Both Clevedon and Bridgwater are former Southern League sides who want to return to a higher level of football.
Wellington, who lost at St Blazey 5-3 in their last game, are one from bottom in the table, with only Millbrook, who have yet to pick up a point, below them.
